Web3
With the rapidly growing potential of Web3, game development is entering a transformative era that redefines how games are created, monetized, and experienced.
I have developed projects and tutorials on implementing Web3 within Unity, and insights into the intersection of blockchain and game design. Through my roles as a Web3 Game Developer and Web3 Developer Relations specialist, I’ve led projects that are designed to educate, inspire, and push the boundaries of what games can achieve using decentralized technology.
📋Cryptography
The fundamental solution, known as public key cryptography, relies not on keeping a key secret, but rather on making it widely available. The trick is to also use a second key that you never share with anyone, even the person you’re communicating with.
It’s only by using this combination of two keys — one public, one private — that someone can both scramble and unscramble a message.
To understand how this works, it’s easier to think of the “keys” not as objects that fit into a lock, but as two complementary ingredients in an invisible ink. The first ingredient makes messages disappear, and the second makes them reappear.
Web3 For Games
Web3 technology is rapidly transforming industries across the globe, and game development is no exception. In particular, the intersection of Web3 and Unity—a leading game engine used by millions of developers—opens up exciting opportunities to reshape how games are developed, monetized, and experienced.

For game developers looking to stay ahead of the curve, embracing Web3 concepts such as blockchain, decentralized assets, and player ownership is becoming essential. This page explores how Web3 is being integrated into Unity game development and why it represents a significant shift for the gaming industry.
Web3 Game Projects
Web3 is an idea for a new iteration of the World Wide Web which incorporates concepts such as decentralization, blockchain technologies, and token-based economics. Some technologists and journalists have contrasted it with Web 2.0, wherein they say data and content are centralized in a small group of companies sometimes referred to as “Big Tech”.
These complete Web3 Unity sample games are for educational use.
Sam created them within roles of Web3 Game Developer and Web3 Developer Relations.
